Hi, I'm Liz Palagi

About Me

As a secondary English teacher for almost 25 years, I have helped middle school, high school, and college-level students with their papers. I have also consulted for advertising agencies, medical supply companies, online and mass media publications, accreditation documents, and many more, editing written pieces for grammar and effectiveness. I often wear a T-shirt that says, “I’m silently correcting your grammar” (complete with editing marks). Before earning my masters degree in Education, I earned my undergraduate degree in Radio-Television Journalism, which helped me become familiar with AP style. I spent several years writing, producing, reporting, and anchoring television news before I decided to stay home to raise my beautiful children. Now, as I step away from education, I hope to help homeschool my grandchildren (in English) and work at what I know best — editing. I am excited about the opportunity to work with you in polishing up your writing and to help make you shine!
